2019-03-19 Meeting Notes

• This will be on the agenda for next month's ULMS steering committee meeting.
• It may not need to go through COLD.

• The draft of recommendations by the task force is basically done.
• Next steps:
  • Natasha will email this document to the rest of FFC for feedback.
  • Isabel from the resource sharing committee has sent it to their group for feedback as well.

• Any metrics Mallory and Matthew came up with seemed to prove what we already know rather than what don’t know.
• They’re looking at metrics for what would be considered a “successful” course reserves area and have created a document for measuring metrics.
• Next steps: making sure they’re talking to people who handle reserves and provide useful feedback on this document
• A discussion group will be created with some course reserves folks to take a look at the document Mallory and Matthew are working on. Potential interested individuals: Mallory, Matthew, Kevin, Jeff Frank SJSU, Caleb CP SLO, Adrian SDSU, 
• Mallory suggests sending out a list of questions to these folks ahead of this meeting
• Potential questions to ask CR folks: what do you think makes your course reserves successful? How would you like to see it improve?

Mallory: Kevin asked why does their campus have a thesis that is checked out and why does it have a csu+ link instead of an ILLiad link. It has not been solved yet but they are working on a solution.
