ItemNotes
Recap Open Forum Feb. 26th
  • Lost & Paid:
    • If Lost and Paid is found, different schools are having different experiences
      • Sometimes the item is still linked and credit is put on patron account, but for others the item is not still linked but check in doesn't work
      • Pomona – if item scanned more than once a double credit is being created. Will create a ticket if none created yet
      • San Jose: Lost & Paid working fine-credit is being generated if item is found but they do not send notification to patron and delete the credit.
      • Item does not show up on patron account but still appears to be linked somehow as SF attempted to check out an item that had been marked lost and paid, but blocked because item was already (still?) checked out to patron
      • We will continue testing and monitoring cases and revisit at next Open Forum.
  • Next open forum will hopefully cover the multiple printer option and online circulation demo that wasn't able to be included at last open forum because we ran out of time.
Reserve Analytics Update
  • No update.
CalState Walkin Recommendations
  • Question requiring physical university ID reworded.
  • Visiting scholar/sponsored users now included as eligible
  • Cathe will put revised document in the Team Drive. All FFC review doc and add comments/questions by next meeting.

Purging user history/attachments recommendations

Damaged Books for Resource Sharing standards
  • Waiting for Resource Sharing to appoint person to work with us on recommendations for these.
  • When received, Cathe will send email to all task force members so they can get started.
What's going well? What's making you crazy?
  • Kevin (Fullerton): In-house loan indicators flipped. Messing with statistics for in-house loans. Now shows loans in-house + loans not-in-house. Shown in Loans Reports in analytics.
    • Cathe will notify Access Services listserve.
  • Christine (Fresno): issues with PeopleSoft load. Loads are not generating correctly. No new records updating.
    • Fullerton fixed with firewall update
  • MeeScan – possible replacement for 3M self-check machines!! https://www.meescan.com/
  • Jamie (SF): Work order to move items in bulk? How to put 200k books in a status as not available and suggest requesting through CSU+?
    • Fullerton suggestion: move to temporary location (Fullerton did this for renovation)
