Jamie has not had a chance to review the updated Fulfillment Dashboard in the Analytics unverified reports folder.
Shelf Report Documentation
Cathe added a link to the open forum recording to the document. She will post the document to the wiki.
Kevin included the contact information for David Palmquist for anyone needing assistance with shelf reports. Kevin is also willing to help.
Leganto Open Forum recap
San Marcos & Chico gave a great presentation.
Kevin – Leganto seems like a great program but is costly. There also may be some trouble getting buy-in from Fullerton’s adjunct faculty.
Cathe – In her experience faculty do not want to learn a new system.
Jamie – Leganto duplicates some features available in iLearn. SFSU’s course reserves is not big enough to warrant another program.
Matthew – There’s already a separate department on campus giving support to Canvas. Leganto could put Access Services at the center of faculty outreach.
Cathe forwarded the Student Success document to the steering committee. It was announced in the last committee minutes. There have been no questions thus far.
Next steps:
The FFC agrees we should proceed with our work while waiting on a response.
Cathe created documents on the shared drive for each topic (fines & fees, technology, course reserves) containing our ideas from the original document. The group will continue to add ideas.
The group will work on a questionnaire to find out how each campus handles these topics, rather than asking about wonderful projects happening at each campus. We broke into groups to develop questions for each topic:
Fines & Fees: Kevin & Mallory
Course Reserves: Jaime & Cathe
Technology: Matthew & Jamie
Cathe will create a document on the shared drive for each group to add their questions. Questions due by the next meeting on Tuesday, December 11th.
The survey will be constructed in January and sent out at the beginning of the Winter Quarter/Spring semester 2019.
What’s driving us crazy? What’s working well?
Cathe had an issue with an Analytics report incorrectly showing items when filtering for “missing” items. She submitted a SalesForce ticket and ExLibris responded with a confusing answer citing a case at another library. Nikki from the analytics group suggested adding a Lifecycle=active filter, which seemed to fix the issue.
Jamie mentioned it may be beneficial to post in the Analytics slack channel before submitting a ticket. Cathe mentioned we can also email the Access Services list for help as well.
