Vice Chair Needed

Kevin Phillips will serve as Vice Chair.

• Jamie contacted Natasha and Troy who will look at their reports over the next couple of weeks. Natasha may need to save all reports in the same folder as the dashboard.

• Ian Chan (San Marcos) and Jodi Shepherd (Chico) will do a Leganto demo/panel.
• Ian Chan has set up google doc and slides.
• Lauren Saslow of the Council of California Community Colleges Chief Librarians Electronic Access and Reviews Committee contacted Ian Chan for info about Leganto, and he asked if can invite to Open Forum as the CCs are going to be migrating to Alma and Primo. Everybody agreed we should invite Lauren, and that we want to help others in their migrations.

Student Success Document

• Student Success goals:
  • Cathe created a Translating Concepts into Action on team drive to use as the conclusion of the document we will send to the Steering Committee.
  • Main focus of Document is affordability of school so she pulled the items most related to those goals which are:
    
    • Textbooks and Course Materials
    • Technology and Equipment
    • Fines, Fees, and Registration Blocks
  • There was discussion on how much we could affect programs of technology and equipment, but the thought was that we could highlight programs that are already going on at different campus and showcase what is happening to give other institutions ideas, help, and inspiration.
  • We also discussed utilizing notices and Alma "letters" as part of the above goals.
  • Next steps:
    • Cathe will combine the new Translating Concepts with the beginning of the Student Success document to create something we can present to the ULMS Steering Committee.
    • FFC members to review, edit, comment by end of day Thursday.
    • If we ALL agree it is ready on Friday, Cathe will send to the Steering Committee for the meeting next Friday. Kevin will attend the steering committee meeting in Cathe's place.

• Cathe and Christine will be at the Access Services Conference next week.
• FFC members attend Resource Sharing Open Forum if possible. Jamie will recap at our next FFC meeting.

• What’s driving us crazy? What’s working well?

• Christine enabled letter retention for one year but attachments are not being purged even though the job is running weekly. Matthew and Kevin will test at their sites.
