Reserve Analytics Update

Matthew and Mallory are back pedaling a bit and working on a document that defines the actual definition of a successful course reserves program. Without that there isn’t much to be gleaned from numerical analysis. Will produce a draft soon and share with the group.

CalState Walkin Recommendations
  • Everyone good with moving recommendations document on.
  • Cathe checked with people who were absent, as well as Joe Adkins from RSFC, and they are good with the recommendations.
  • Next steps: bring to the steering committee for a look
Damaged Books for Resource Sharing standards
  • First meeting today - update coming next week
Lost and paid update
  • Jamie heard back from ExL today on SF case that what she’s seeing is the expected behavior (that the item is marked lost and paid and removed from record but if returned the credit will go back to the record)
  • When you run the job to close the loan or delete from the account the credit is not applied. So why is the lost and paid status update different? Jamie is working on some kind of response to ExL to find this out.
  • Jamie will create a page for the wiki indicating how this works. Will try to complete it before she’s gone for the month of April.
  • Kevin plans to use the lost and paid function running a report (possibly a modified report built by Troy and Adrian) with credits shown for items returned in the last year.
What's going well? What's making you crazy?

SFSU’s LRS issue - created new temporary location and made it unavailable and called it “request from CSU+” to make it clear to patrons to go that route. Seems to be working ok with the exception of some LPs that can’t be requested elsewhere.

Next Meeting: 03/19/19 @ 11 am
