  • Alma Shelf Report-you can scan a section in the stacks, load the barcodes into Alma, and get a report of missing items found, items out of place

  • Custom shelf reading report that gives specific visual representation, making it easy to find and correct items out of order.

  • Shared Report Folder in Analytics: Shared/Community/Reports/Institutions/CalState/Fulfillment

    • Verified: These have been tested to work at any institution

    • Unverified: Anyone can put reports they think may be helpful to others. FFC will test and move to verified folder.

  • Report to identify Patrons who owe over $x.xx  amount before a particular date

    • Two versions: with prompt and without prompt.

  • For those with Bursar integration, how do you prevent patrons from checking out items until fines are paid?

    • Troy (San Diego) says they don't normally block checkouts because they know the student will have to pay their fine or it will go to collection. If they do want to block (e.g. expensive equipment), he will place a manual block on account.

  • Issue of too many popups and that are cleared when another item is scanned and the scanned in item is not checked in.

    • SLO and San Jose have worked around this by not doing check-ins (other than hourly items) at the circ desk and having the check-in person take a load of returns to a quiet, uninterrupted spot so the person scanning can concentrate on watching the screen.

    • @Cathe Olson (Unlicensed) will put a post an Idea Exchange and let the group know so they can comment and vote.

    • There is a suggestion for configurable popup notes in Idea Exchange but it seems to have a different focus than what we discussed: https://ideas.exlibrisgroup.com/forums/30813-alma/suggestions/15987739-configurable-pop-up-notes 

  • Proxy functionality is working well–except that there is no way to set an expiration date.
