Campus Updates / Announcements

  • Thanksgiving is next week!

ULMS Steering Committee Updates

  • COLD has asked about possibly extending due dates through the Spring semester. The steering committee agreed each campus should have the ability to extend local & CSU+ due dates until June 15th.

  • There will be no Unity deliveries to any campus Dec 21st - Jan 1st. Campuses needed deliveries Dec 21 - 23 can contact Unity with an exception.

  • The Discovery Task Force is still looking at how to evaluate Primo VE. During the evaluation period, VE will update and change as problems are solved & features added.

  • Brandon shared the survey summary with COLD. Good amount of shared priorities with the RSFC. He is drafting a more detailed report to send to ExLibris in December. We will work with ExLibris in the Spring to resolve issues.

  • Add information on configuring quick links in customize main menu links

  • Jamie add screenshot using fake patron to maintain confidentiality

Cal State Walk-in Demonstration



  • Jamie shared a new Walk-in instructions document for review. 

  • We need to make sure to explain pros and cons to the two workflows for walk in patrons. 

  • Requesting materials as a walk-in patron for both CSU+ and local requests. Can walk-in users use CSU+

    • CalState Walkin Patrons need to be added to the Borrowing rules to make sure it works. 

    • Update documentation to show how to configure CSU+ use for walk-in patrons

  • Jamie demonstrated the current workflow. 

    • After getting the account set up, patrons need to sign in as Guest

  • Each campus can decide if they will do walk-in patron workflows during the pandemic.
