Campus Updates / Announcements



  • Chris Lee replaces Mallory

Digitization Documentation

  • What kind of documentation should be written:

    • Step by step how to

    • Customizations

    • Dawnelle working with her Systems Librarian who has put their system together, “what should be written up”. Ask her to write up ALMA Configuration

    • Dawnelle can share internal Pomona documentation with FFC (what staff do)

Because instructions on a task may be specific to a campus, how to indicate that on the Wiki? Have a generic “this is what you can do in ALMA”, and campuses can make their choices. 

The FFC can discuss this on a case-by-case basis as well, which is better, generic or specific campus.

Fulfillment Restart Checklist

 



  • Create protocols for staff and public spaces for social distancing

    • Bathrooms

      • Single bathrooms open only

      • Public bathrooms closed

    • Elevators

      • 1 person - 4 person occupancy

    • Stairs? 

    • Break rooms 

    • Office spaces 

Bathrooms and elevator protocols are generally decided by the campus. Facilities have done the work of labelling these spaces  at SF, SB and probably SM

Enforcement (long term): how do staff handle; CSOs should be helpful with this task

Staff spaces: For this area, create signage, etc. IF NEEDED, but it may not be required.

Cleaning shared equipment/spaces (such as phones, work tables): campus dept. should create the protocol for themselves for cleaning, use. Keep cleaning supplies nearby for everyone to use

Jamie recommends posting the Recommendation document on the Wiki, and it can continue to be updated.

Future Projects



Ideas:

  • New Alma UI Guide

  • Reorganize the wiki

    • Create a space on our Wiki for the LTF 

    • Jamie will create some new headers for the Wiki for this year, we can rearrange a bit for this year

  • Open forum

  • Create recommendations for contactless checkout and pick up

    • Curbside type of pick up 

    • Locker pick up 

    • Reservation pick up
