CALSTATE weekly call

Primo status
NZ publishing: High-priority cases are logged and being investigated (Development is involved)
Root cause appears to be the Alma side of publishing; Primo pipes look good
Rae Ann (SJSU): records that aren't in NZ are published
PCI (Fullerton):
remember to copy over your activations from the API (Xerxes) to PrimoAnything done out of the central office will be for the free and free-to-search/restricted-delivery
Resources needing reactivated are those restricted for both search and delivery
PCI cycle can take up to 10 days to reflect availability (usually more like 3 days; publish from Alma runs overnight Wednesdays US time and are loaded each Sunday to Primo Central)
Check-in about interface / workbook questions
Authentication: checking with James Tapia & Wei Dai on status and schedule for authentication setup; authentication section of workbook can be skipped if needed
Alma status
Re-migrations this week based on data checking
Courses for Pomona - submitting new course file week of 8/1
Patrons for Long Beach - delivered 7/26 overnight
Integrations
RFID
Which institutions use which products?
Do all products being implemented use SIP2 protocol? (if so, Alma calls this a "self-check" integration even if it's not a self check product)
Action Item: Dolph to assemble known lists of institutions / products, then to run that by Brandon / core team
From David: "We have an RFID Taskforce that is on top of this, being led by Renaldo at Fresno."
Setting up regular call on Resource Sharing / Fulfillment Network for Fridays (stay tuned)

[7/27/2016 1:12 PM] David Walker:
Stacie: The API profile is for Xerxes. The 'Primo' profile is fo Primo
[7/27/2016 1:13 PM] Jensen, Stacie M:
So since Sacramento is not using Xerxes is there anything we need to do that we have not done already?
[7/27/2016 1:14 PM] Rae Ann (SJSU):

[7/27/2016 1:20 PM] Tim Strawn:
On Alma Testing: We have noticed migration issues that are not mentioned anywhere in the suggested testing scenarios. Where do we add those for your attention?
Salesforce?
[7/27/2016 1:21 PM] Tim Strawn:
Thanks will do
[7/27/2016 1:27 PM] David Walker:
We have an RFID Taskforce that is on top of this, being led by Renaldo at Fresno. They've done some initial testing (at Fresno) and met last week to start discussing testing at other campuses, I believe. They also have a list of vendors being used at the campuses (I think only a handful have RFID).
So we can get that to you pretty easily, I think.
[7/27/2016 1:30 PM] Brandon:
this is between ExL and the resource sharing taskforce formed as a result of CRSP’s recommendations to COLD. I’ll share membership with everyone
the calls won’t be open like these calls are
[7/27/2016 1:30 PM] Kathlene @ MB:
Will this be open to campuses? Or just workgroup?
wow
[7/27/2016 1:31 PM] Tim Strawn:
Do they have a Confluence space, and if so, are these workflow documents that have been shared available there, or somewhere?
[7/27/2016 1:31 PM] Kathlene @ MB:
:)
Brandon reads minds
[7/27/2016 1:31 PM] Brandon:
tim - it’s just getting off the ground, but they will
[7/27/2016 1:31 PM] Tim Strawn:
Making CSU great..again
[7/27/2016 1:31 PM] Brandon:
lol
[7/27/2016 1:36 PM] Mark B. (Los Angeles):

[7/27/2016 1:38 PM] Mark B. (Los Angeles):
Many thanks for your help, all.
