Migration timeline

• San Jose State and SLO to come to CSU Digital Archives. Welcome! SLO currently migrating, likely through summer.

• Other campuses with interest (Chico). User of CONTENTdm looking at approaches. Example: using API. Possible CDM group to meet and prepare.

• Need schedule of campus migrations.

• Also need to know the size of collections (number and size of files).

• How to handle compound objects? If only technical metadata, can add each component as a work attached to the main record. Those with descriptive metadata will be different.

• Meeting with campuses (CONTENTdm first) to discuss needs concerns in order to inform a migration schedule.
