Goals
CSU+ Bag Repair Update: For some light entertainment and information to open the meeting, Joe A will show some pics of some of the repaired bags. 15 of 34 bags are currently fully repaired.
CSU+ Recalls Issue: Mallory will review and follow up on the email she sent earlier this week in regard to CSU+ Recalls.
Confluence Update: Natalya created some Task Force pages for our ongoing projects. Let's have a look. Natalya also has some preliminary results from our Confluence survey. Let’s look at that too.
Sandbox assault planning- We need to do a rigorous test of resource sharing in the sandbox. We know the basic requesting workflow works but we need to check everything (due dates, notifications, etc). We want the Sandbox to function exactly like one of our live Alma instance. Let’s make a list in a Google doc of what we want to test so that we have a check list for when we do the testing. Sandbox Testing Plan (Anyone with link can edit. Do we want to publish this in the notes or not?)
Action Items: Let’s go through our action items and see what still needs one and what is done but not checked off. Maybe we make plans for any outstanding action items.
Any old or new business RSFC members want to discuss: If you have something, feel free to type it in here before the meeting. Or just bring the item to the meeting and we can make time for it.
Discussion topics
Time | Item | Presenter | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
2:05 PM | Courier Bag Repair Update | @Joseph Adkins (Unlicensed) | Joe A. showed pictures of repair jobs he did to 15 red courier bags. |
2:10 PM | CSU+ Recalls Issue | @Mallory DeBartolo (Unlicensed) | Mallory explained that our CSU+ loans get requested by a restore job after a certain amount of time overdue. Each CSU needs to alter a table so that the CSU+ loans cannot be recalled by this process. Her email from earlier this week explains the process. |
2:16 PM | Confluence and Survey Update | @Natalya Magazino (Unlicensed) | Natalya showed changes she made to the RSFC Confluence pages which improves their organization and overall look. She showed some data analysis that demonstrated that the loss rate for CSU+ loans is actually lower (.27%) than the CSU’s local loss rate which was also very low, around 1 percent. Natalya showed us some preliminary results of a survey she sent out about how/whey/when people use the Confluence spaces. |
2:56 PM | Sandbox Testing Planning Discussion | @Joseph Adkins (Unlicensed) | Joe made a Google doc for us to use to plan and document our Sandbox testing. |
