Course Reserves

o   We have spoken to almost all campuses (except Sonoma) and are in the process of updating the notes.

o   Jamie showed her document of the compilation of information for the first section of the document.

§  There is some confusion about “location”.  The answers were very different, so might need to confirm with various libraries and/or through Analytics.

·         Locations were either Alma locations, item policies (check out period), physical desks, etc.

§  ACTION ITEM:  Kevin will follow up with campus (via email or in person) to find out how many Alma locations each campus has and get the names for them.

o   Interesting information from this section:

§  Large number of variances from the number of courses each campus offers.

§  Almost all of the reserve staff members did other duties other than reserves.

o   The questions are split up and everyone should start/finish up working on it soon.  The information is on the team drive.  It should be finished in the next several weeks.

Enhancement Requests

•    How do we want to do the voting?

  o   February 8^th is the last day enhancements can be added to NERS for voting for this round.

  o   March 29^th – April 12^th:  First round of voting

  o   Should we present ideas at a Open Forum?

  o   Last year, no Fulfillment Enhancements made it’s way through.

  §  Might be due to the way each campus votes.

  o   Mallory made a suggestion to focus on 1 to 3 enhancements for Fulfillment; then make an argument why those ideas should be voted in.

Community Colleges

o   Have the community colleges reached out for help/advice since going live?

§  So far, not so much.  Very minimally across just a few campuses at best.

o   Should we invite the community colleges to our next Open Forum? 

§  Yes, we should.

§  We will have each area forward to their local community college.

CSU+ Loan Rules

o   There has been no movement on this as of yet.

o   Joe was out the whole month of December and is still trying to catch up.

§  ACTION ITEM:  Christine will reach out in the next few weeks if she haven’t heard anything.

What’s going well? What’s not?

o   Kelly Ann has been having problems with recalling items for reserve.
