FFC Restructuring
February's Open Meeting
  • Training for February's Open Meeting
  • February's training session was moved to March 7th due to scheduling conflicts.
  • The following will be shown at the Open Meeting on   
    • Closing Lost Loans – Jamie
    • Reserves – Cathe and Natasha (including creating items for personal copies)
  • Future training sessions
    • Resource Sharing cross-over for March/April (talk about potential times for meetings)
    • Other ideas were discussed for future training sessions and were added to our Team Drive document for training ideas.
ELUNA Enhancements
  • The ELUNA Enhancements for Alma were due to Brandon earlier this week.
  • The Coordinating Committee is in discussions to determine how the voting for the CSUs will be polled.
  • Brandon also sent out a reminder about the Idea Exchange.
    • Each person can submit ideas and vote up to 20 times per year.
    • A submission counts as one of your votes.
    • Natasha told the group that a good idea to make your idea known is by putting it on the Alma listserv.
Comment Form
  • There have been no comment form entries since we started the comment form.
  • rdowns@csudh.edu (Unlicensed) will send out an email to the Access Services listserv to remind everyone that we have a comment form and to please use it for comments, questions, concerns, training ideas, etc.
Next Meeting
  • Our next FFC meeting will be on  at 10am.

What's making you crazy this week?

What's working particularly well?

  • Cathe talked about how they submitted a ticket about the expired hold shelf list.  This list isn't including any holds that have another pending hold on them.  This is having things stay on the hold shelf for too long and the subsequent patrons aren't getting the holds that they have requested in a timely fashion.
  • Troy talked about his implementation of Circuit.  He said it's been going well, but they are now doing double checkouts for these items.  Vicky also expressed concern with getting Link+ up and running.  It was supposed to be done prior to the start of the semester, but the semester has been going on for about 4 weeks now and still no Link+
