New business: Satisfaction Discussion w/ Ex Libris - our top priorities | @Gabriel Gardner (Unlicensed)
| The previous satisfaction survey implicated discovery a lot and Ex Libris' response was that moving to VE might address the CDI-related issues. Because of the evaluation of Primo VE we are going to hold off on surfacing concerns until that decision is made. (We thank Brandon for his work here.)

New business: ScholarWorks pipe directions | @David Walker | Brandon created a central Samvera pipe and documentation for PBO. David asked to group if we need to do this during a Primo VE session, but suggested a separate session for this. Recommended emailing the listserv to see if there is interest in having a dedicated session.

VE Eval: Centralized functionality for fields (search & display) & facets | @brandon dudley (Unlicensed) @Mark Braden (Unlicensed) | Brandon has discovered a way to configure fields centrally (e.g. OCLC number, MMSID) and push them out to the campuses. Some fields would require considerable work to get a final product that matches our PBO setup. There is a maximum amount of search and facet fields that can be configured centrally. [10 local and 10 central] Common needs for search and faceting need to be debated as there is a limit of 10. Campuses should hold off on setting these up until we've agreed what will be configured centrally. At some point we will need a Top 10 list of desired centralized search & facet fields. NRTF will be prioritizing the norm rules/drools needed for the centrally controlled display fields to function first.
The group is open to communicating with the larger discovery group about what local fields should be managed in the network. Would be helpful if the NRTF had a public list of all the changes that are being made via drools. Christine will post examples in basecamp and ask EXL about how to change the links via drool. The question of @Chris Lee 's resource sharing configuration progress was raised. He recently learned that we will be unable to test VE requesting without affecting requesting in PBO. Need to invite comment or appearance from him on this issue.
