Review Primo VE Survey

Survey concluded on Oct 21, 2022 and we received 19 responses from 16 campuses.

Hannah , Julie , and Keven will categorize and summarize issues and suggestions described in responses by degree of complexity and effort. E.g. doable, possibly doable, and can’t do. The group will plan to complete the write-up by Nov 28, 2022.

Test Sites

Testing group met to discuss workflow and expectations. The group created a template to work off from and will fine-tune using the next Primo VE release in November as the first test; spreadsheet of updates can be VIEWABLE (not editable) on the Discovery homepage.

UI/UX Assessment

A call was sent out by @Keven Jeffery (Unlicensed): The ULMS Discovery Committee is looking to compile a list of OneSearch user interface, user experience, or other discovery related studies undertaken across the CSU. If you have done a study, are doing a study, or are planning a study we'd like to know about it. Our plan is to compile a list of studies on confluence for future reference.

Keven will compile responses, and also follow-up with Gabriel on recent publication.

Linked Data TF asks if there is interest or current work to integrate LD within discovery.

• Brandon will request summary from LD describing their work and potential integration with discovery.

Accessibility Report

Discussion at ELUNA Primo PWG referenced Primo product managers meeting that briefly describes plans to implement accessibility improvements.

They are working to complete a contract with an external auditor for all the fixes this year. Then will update the VPAT and list of roadmap issues for 2023. Document targeted end of November, finished certainly by end of year.
