Digital Library Repository Guide

Michaela

• The guide will now also be home to the Digital Archives information as well

• We will need to collaborate with the Digital Archives Working Group to make sure that we’re not duplicating information or accidentally editing each others sections

• All ScholarWorks-related items are now nested under a SW heading to make things clear for now

• Michaela will work with Elyse and Yoko from DAWG to find a time to discuss a plan for the guide.

Request to update the Datasets from

David

• Dataset form has a few unique required fields that are not in the other forms

• Sacremento asked that the “method of collection” not be a required field.

• This will make it easier for librarians and other repository managers who may not have this information.

• This field isn’t showing on the user side.

• The committee agrees that it’s fine for this field to no longer be required. David will let folks know at the upcoming open forum.
