• Shared ideas for potential presentations from different campuses. Also need to start thinking about what we will do for the MWG meeting as part of this event.

Digital Archives Updates

Dave, Nicole, and Melissa

• Dave and Carmen presented a report on an anticipated Summer 2022 pilot to COLD last week

Work Forms Task Force Updates

All

• Several members of MWG were able to attend the Work Forms Task Force meeting on February 4

• Dave sent an email the ScholarWorks project manager list announcing that work forms will be discussed following tomorrow’s Open Forum

Field of the Month Initiative Updates

Melissa

• First co-working meeting of project managers was held on February 3

• In the process of updating documentation based on feedback; will now be recommending Google Sheets rather than Excel for data manipulation and clean-up

• Pam will help test out of the revised instructions for the title field clean-up (thank you, Pam!)

Potential Collections Task Force

Melissa and Ryan

• Dave met with Ryan and the SF State team in late January to talk through some potential development projects for collections (notes doc)

• One potential project would be to review the existing collections work form and make recommendations on which metadata fields should be included. Decided that the group doesn't have capacity to take this on at this point, but should keep it in mind for the future.
