Announcements | All | SF State’s Digital Scholarship Center will be hosting another virtual Black Lives Matter Wikipedia edit-a-thon open to all CSU library staff and faculty on February 19 from 3-4:30 pm. Please email Melissa and Matt if you’re interested in attending. Chancellor’s Office has extra licenses for a WebAIM accessibility training certification. If you would be interested, please email Melissa by the end of the day Wednesday, February 10. Mark sent an email with a Google Sheet inventory of scholarly communication LibGuides across the system. Anyone is welcome to make additions. Kyle and Pam: Chico conference proceedings and climate journal are moving forward. Increase Capacity for CSU-wide journal publishing | Melissa
| Mark Stover contacted library deans individually, and we now have library publishing contacts for almost every campus. Action items for this month: Review Journal Publishing Guide and make updates, as needed. Also review Sac State’s manual. Investigate additional means of supporting faculty journals through partnerships with vendors Melissa will schedule a meeting with Mark, Matt, and Brian Hole from Ubiquity Press regarding potential support for faculty journals. Have other campuses heard from faculty journals in need of more support?

LORDS | jaime | Next CSU-wide review session scheduled for March 11 at 2:30 pm. We will have 2-3 new campuses for this pilot. If anyone else in Publishing IG would like to get involved or have an initial conversation on their campus, please contact jaime. jaime shared a toolkit that we’re working on. SLO’s LibGuide includes the dates for upcoming review sessions and have started inviting students. Others are welcome to join, but please give jaime a heads up.
