  • Library Publishing Forum has extended the deadline for proposals to January 15: https://librarypublishing.org/program/

  • SF State’s Digital Scholarship Center will be hosting another virtual Black Lives Matter Wikipedia edit-a-thon on January 22 from 3-4:30 pm. If you and/or 1-2 colleagues from your campus would be interested in attending, please RSVP to Melissa and Matt.

  • Kyle and Dana are having ongoing meetings about the climate journal.

Increase Capacity for CSU-wide journal publishing

  • 14 deans have provided a library publishing contact for the OJS Journal Publishing Guide

  • Melissa will ask Mark Stover to send out one more reminder to COLD before updating the guide with names

  • CSU-wide review session scheduled for March 11 at 2:30 pm. Still open to including other campuses, and jaime is happy to facilitate conversations at other campuses.

Open access documentation / Elsevier gold OA pilot

  • All local campus administrators should now have access to Elsevier’s institutional journey platform. Any issues?

  • Noted Elsevier’s rejection of an article that was initially proposed in 2019

Accessibility resources for ScholarWorks content

  • Carmen shared our Google Drive folder during last month’s ScholarWorks PM meeting and discussed the need for a separate working group to focus on accessibility issues. Also noted the possibility of highlighting best practices during the summer ScholarWorks meeting.
