  • 3rd Party Integrations Tracking
  • Patron Loading / SIS page has been updated:Patron Load
    • Chancellor's Office has been working on the integration
    • Will be testing starting in August - Dave has reached out to the Vanguard campuses to be the initial testers in August
    • Project should be delivered to all of the campuses in March
  • Authentication page (Shibboleth w/Primo) has been updated: Authentication
    • Will be meeting with library project managers on July 11th to discuss how to move this task forward. What role should the campus play to move this along? If campus Identity management people know how to do this but work is not being done, how should we step in / handle that?
    • Are planning to work with Ex Libris to set up Shibboleth with Alma
    • Campus Identity Management people are aware of this project, but detailed instructions will be sent out to campus identity management people and campus project managers once Primo instances are available.
    • December: planning to have all campus Primo and Alma set up
  • Master table of 3rd party integrations: Ex Libris has suggested we clearly track what integrations each campus will be doing. Will be a kind of matrix showing each campus with each
20minSystems Task Force Updates
  • Learning Management Systems: Looking at building a reading list application using Alma and Primo APIs. Also some discussion about looking at Leganto (Ex Libris' reading list application, which would require an additional subscription) and Intellus Learning, which many campuses are trialing as a part of the CSU-wide Affordable Learning $olutions project. The proposed app will use LTI to enable resources to be embedded into Moodle.
  • Self Check: No Update
  • Bursar Integration: Ian discussed the integration currently being tested at San Marcos. The application will query an Alma API for user fines and fees and generate a report for consumption by PeopleSoft. Once the fines are PeopleSoft, patrons can pay fines using CashNet. Every 15 minutes, a process will run to retrieve patron info for people who have shared their fines. Note that the fines that appear in CashNet will be on a delay. San Marcos has an existing CashNet portal that enables faculty/staff and community members to pay fines/fees that they will continue to use.
  • User API: No update
  • ILLiad: No update
  • RFID: Fresno is working, and testing begins with the other two campuses (testing couldn't go forward until Alma environments were available)
