Borrowing Slip changes

Chris will share changes with everyone

• Ex Libris recommends to switch from Full Resource Request Slip Letter to Resource Sharing Receive Slip letter.

• Letter preview does not display item barcode properly. Salesforce case was made a few days ago. Still waiting for a response.

• Item condition report to potentially change from boxes to a blank space.

• Item location destination was requested to be put on the slip.

• Chris made a tweak to make it so long titles can fit on one slip. 

NCIP Bug

Problem noticed at SLO

it is possible to check the book out to the wrong patron with the NCIP, and worse, it shows as checked out to the correct patron when you check it out to the wrong patron. 

• Astra showed how to access the block preferences settings and change the Override by Manager setting to Block.  

Rapido Year One Eval

Rapido Refresher

• Next Rapido refresher April 26th.
  Reprints workflow. Eluna will be taking place the week of May 10th, so we have decided to take a Rapido Refresher break that week (no meeting).

Misc.

Chris has turned off the note field for lending and eventually borrowing (in the future). Some institutions have patrons putting their address in the note field for home delivery, but that information is also visible for lending libraries. Priscilla will be testing the note types while receiving to see where they land on the borrowing campus’ end.

No Rapido Refresher on May 10th.
