Announcements

• No monthly meeting or open forum in January.

• Next meeting: Thu, 2/6 at 2PM

• Next open forum: Wed, 2/5 at 2PM

• Confluence subscription cannot be renewed by the CO

  • Confluence goes dark 12/22 - everything might get archived so may look different

  • Users/usage will be cut off around 12/16.

  • David at CO has a number of scripts and most of the export will be done using scripts. Open forum tomorrow (12/6) on this topic.

  • Will be exported to SharePoint or Drupal => Gives access to a lot more people not like Confluence which limited the # of users due to cost.

  • CO thought that they may need help from each committee with some content migration but it could be less than they thought.

  • More information is coming in January.

  • Some pages might be modified because certain things don’t work with migration scripts

  • Some archived pages might be brought back because the archived pages cannot be migrated

• Redirects cannot be put into place

• Topic? - Choice 1 is SUSHI & COUNTER and choice 2 is dashboards

  • No one contacted me to say that they wanted to share any dashboards/reports that they use but I could show one of my dashboards if there’s interest.

  • There was a suggestion for doing another presentation on SUSHI and COUNTER.

    • Laura Krier at Sonoma State said once in Slack that she’s “happy to show you how we set up all of our vendors with SUSHI harvesting in Alma, Celus, and LibInsight.” I could try to reach out to her to see if she’s willing to present on the topic.

    • Poll people to see if there’s interest?

    • Anyone else want to show how they have SUSHI setup?

  • Another review of webinars/training (ELUNA learns)/ESLUG, etc?

CSU Analytics Consortial Folder Clean-up

• We did not have the time to discuss this at the Nov meeting. Jung Ah was going to go ahead and post about the folders listed below but did not have the time to do so.

• Jung Ah went over the changes made to the Analytics Usage Tracking Dashboard

  • New default values for the prompts

    • Report folder path defaults to Analytics Usage Tracking Dashboard folder.

    • The begin date range defaults to 24 months from today.

    • Default values can be and should be changed before running the report.

    • Two new tabs were added with new variations to the usage tracking report.

    • A new column - Max(Query Date) was added to applicable reports.

    • Users column showing the user system ID’s was added. (No name or primary ID’s are recorded in NZ analytics.)

• We did not discuss the details of the below information but Jung Ah will post about these on the listserv and slack and move them into the Delete folder after posting.

    • /shared/California State University Network/Total Most filled Journals (More than 5) - last modified 1/10/2023

  • ACRL IPEDS Official ULMS folder

    • "consider deleting/copy of Run in the IZ" subfolder

      • 1 report had 1 use by 1 person but the report is an exact duplicate of the report that already exists under Run in the IZ folder. The other reports had no usage. The whole subfolder will be deleted.

    • "consider deleting/he_315172180002914_2914_d_na03.alma.exlibrisgroup.com" subfolder

      • It contains only a My Dashboard file. It looks like a copy of some user's My Folders. It was most likely put into this folder as a mistake. Will delete.

    • 4 reports under "consider deleting" folder

      • 2 reports had 1 use each by 1 person but the reports are exact duplicates of the report that already exists under Run in the IZ folder so all 4 reports will be deleted

    • "consider deleting/Alternate NZ Reports" subfolder

      • The correct/final version of Alternate NZ Reports exist under Run in the NZ folder

      • This subfolder and its contents will be deleted

    • "Run in the NZ/consider deleting" subfolder

      • The report for 40A exists in the Run in the IZ folder. The report for 40A in the Run in the NZ folder had no usage. Will delete.

      • The other two reports with "TEST" in the names had no usage. The whole subfolder will be deleted.

  • ACRL Statistics NOT official - reports with no usage in the past 24 months

    • CalState - 40 Column B - last modified 7/28/2023

    • CalState - 42 Column B - last modified 11/19/2020

    • CalState - 63 - last modified 2/26/2023

    • Natalya might have created this folder. She can be contacted regarding these.

    • This folder should probably be deleted although the other reports had some usage.

  • CSUS (SacState) - reports with no usage in the past 24 months

    • CalState - 60B: Total Digital/Electronic Circulation or Usage - last modified 7/26/2023

    • CalState - 63. E-serials usage - last modified 7/26/2023

    • e-books added FY 2020-21 NZ purchased packages - last modified 7/21/2021

      • Could have been renamed from “e-books added FY 2020-21 NZ packages” which had usage in 2023.

    • In SJSU’s IZ analytics, reports in this folder are used by “Scheduled Report” as the user. Most likely used by the system.
