Policy Statement

The lending library will ship items within one business day (Monday - Friday) where the Resource Sharing department is open. 

  • Resource Sharing requests will transfer to the next library in the rota after two business days without a response.

Rationale

  • One of the benefits of CSU+ is the fast turn-around time. This policy ensures CSU+ remains an efficient and speedy resource for the CSU community.
  • Staff should strive to ship books out within 24 hours unless their department is closed, understaffed, or experiences some other unforeseen event.
  • The 24 hour turnaround time should not preclude staff from doing a thorough search for the item.
