| Report Summary | Out of three campuses that have RFID, two have TechLogic as the vendor, and one has 3M. ExLibris currently provides out of the box support for 3M and Bibliotheca. Fresno (3M library) has already tested the RFID integration successfully and is working to implement it in production for the Fresno instance (testing was done during vanguard phase). Exlibris has informed our group that with the new Alma Release, a third option called OTHER has been added to the list of possible integration vendors. Our team hopes to successfully test the TechLogic RFID integration using the "OTHER" option, and report any issues that may be encountered via Salesforce. During February 2017, our team is in the process of performing a demonstration of the steps involved with setting up the RFID integration in Alma for 3M (a supported vendor). Fresno has volunteered to offer a demonstration via Zoom, and provide a recoding of the session. By observing what's involved with the set-up, it is hoped that the other campuses can begin the process of testing the integration and report any difficulties encountered. Our next meeting is set up for Monday, Feb 6 at 3pm. The three libraries that have been identified as RFID libraries (Fresno, Channel Islands, Monterey Bay) have been invited to join, along with San Jose State.
