ILLiad - Alma Integration
Report Summary
  1. Provided update to the Systems working group regarding SJSU's successful testing of the Plugin. SJSU is still continuing to test the plugin. After viewing Sac States presentation with Ex Libris there has been expressed interest from some campuses to use multiple identifiers in Alma that require script changes with the plugin. Christian of Sac State will provide documentation of the required script modifications.
  2. Ian (San Marcos) has provided documentation from Atlas on using external authentication to create requests in Illiad. This procedure can potentially provide campuses who do not host their ILLiad with a more efficient way to process user accounts and request when patrons are routed from Alma to ILLiad.


Action Items

1. Post plugin script modifications to task force wiki.

2. Research the external authentication option further and reach out to campuses who might benefit from this structure. (using Systems survey information to target OCLC hosted campuses.)
