  • Review of 3 possible models described here: Alma and Bursar Integration for Exchange of User Fine/Fee Data
    • Many campuses would like payment integration with CashNet (Model 1) but may not necessarily need integration with PeopleSoft (Model 2)
    • Model 1 (direct CashNet storefront integration) is preferable to start with
      • Storefront would require Shibboleth authentication and ideally be customizable to enable custom API interaction / email messaging. Students would access the storefront from Primo my account.
      • Need to find out which campuses have which add-ons (eMarket, SmartPay) used as an interface between CashNet and storefront
      • Would require hosting by each campus. Difficult to get custom applications approved by IT to use; would need to develop with plenty of time for internal review / vetting by each campus.
  • TF would like more information from Financials Group at Chancellor's Office
  • TF recommends approaching Ex Libris with request to build integration for CashNet similar to WPM payment integration created for UK universities.
