This is the list of the procedures and best practices for the consortial e-resources, ECC and Opt-in, in the Alma NZ instance. Â There are separate polices for locally purchased electronic collections that are maintained in the IZ. Â Electronic collections are now closely linked to acquisitions in Alma and the new models and workflows are discussed in depth in the procedures and best practices. Â SDLC and the NZ administrator will activate, maintain, and in some cases, order e-resources that will be shared by some or all of the libraries in the NZ. Â These procedures and best practices are for NZ ECC and NZ Opt-in resource management and acquisitions in the NZ admin instance. Â Most of the procedures included in this section are for SDLC and the NZ administrator with the exception of NZ Opt-in of Consortial Acquisitions.

Sample illustrations for an e-collection vs. the physical record. The policy for the NZ e-collections is that they will be ordered from the CZ to take advantage of the global updates. The IZ e-collections are not linked to the NZ e-collections.  This is different from the the physical record where the record in the IZ is linked the record in the NZ and the master record originates from OCLC instead of the CZ.
