Luxer One Emails Overview
Luxer One will send the following letters to the user:
Welcome to Luxer One
Subject: Welcome to CSUSM Library Lockers (provided by Luxer One)
Dear [Name],
California State University San Marcos University Library has signed you up for Luxer One - CSUSM Library Lockers, a new resource that you can begin using right away! With CSUSM Library’s Luxer One Lockers, you have the option to pick up Library materials 24/7. The CSUSM Library Lockers are located off of Craven Circle, outside of the second floor of the Kellogg Library (333 S. Twin Oaks Valley Rd., San Marcos, CA 92069).
Your account is set up and ready to go! We just need you to log in to your account to accept the terms of service and confirm that your contact information is correct.
To access your Luxer One account, log in with your email address and your temporary password: [password] Feel free to change this password in your account settings.
Here’s how you can start picking up your items with the CSUSM Library Lockers:
Search for items in OneSearch and Request Access to pick up your item(s) from the Library Lockers.
Once Library staff have placed your item(s) in the locker, you will receive an email (and/or text message, if you opt in) with an access code and QR code to open the locker. Enter your access code on the Luxer One touch screen at the lockers, scan the QR code at the lockers, or select “Open Locker Door” in the Luxer One app and the locker where your item(s) is securely stored will open automatically.
Take your item(s) out of the locker, and confirm that it is the item(s) you requested.
Once you take your item(s) out of the locker, make sure you close the door to complete the transaction.
Repeat these steps every time you pick up an item from the lockers.

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we ask that you download the Luxer One App. With this method, the locker containing your item(s) will open when you select “Open Locker Door” from the app, helping you avoid contact with surfaces.
Other helpful hints for the best CSUSM Library Locker experience:
Turn up your phone screen brightness to ensure the scanner can read the QR code
If your phone screen is dirty or cracked, the scanner may be unable to read the QR code
Avoid glare on your phone screen to ensure the scanner can read the QR code
You must be within 5 feet of the locker to open the locker from the Luxer One app
Don’t forget to close the locker door
You can pick up your item anytime, day or night, as the CSUSM Library Lockers are accessible 24/7. Library staff will remove packages that have been in the lockers after 6 days, to make room for new items. If one of your items is removed, you will receive a notification.
