  • Preparing campuses for the configuration form
  • Understanding and preparing for the Vanguard load
  • Patron load. Determine exactly how it will happen, what fields will be loaded into Alma (work with Systems group)
  • Resource sharing. How would each different option work (Alma, ILLiad, INN-Reach, Link+, etc) and what common policies can be implemented CSU-wide?
  • Discuss and possible implement CSU-wide circulation policies and parameters
  • Discuss and possibly implement CSU-wide fines and financial policies
10minAccess Services meetings in North/South?EveryoneThe group is in favor of having an Access Services meeting in the North and one in the South. We would like to just get started, plan some meetings, and see what happens. Perhaps this meeting can be timed to coincide with campuses receiving the configuration form and that form can be the main focus of the meeting.
10minVanguard load discussionJulieJulie shared some of her experiences working on a Vanguard campus preparing for the test load of data into Alma.
5minListserv discussionEveryoneThe group discussed the difficulty sparking conversation on the Access Services listserv. All the leads will try to be more proactive in posting new things to the list and responding to messages to try to promote discussion. One thing we will start doing is sending out links to our minutes to the entire listserv.

The following meeting times were decided:

  • ULMS Leads meetings: 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month from 9-10am
  • ULMS Leads meeting with Mallory and Brandon: 1/20/2016 10-11am
  • Open Meeting for all Access Services and Resource Sharing staff CSU-wide: 1/27/2016 9-10am
  • ULMS Leads meeting to finalize priorities: 1/28/2016 1-2pm
