Present: Lindsay O’Neill, Sara Dahlen, Michele Van Hoeck, Ann Agee, Katherine O’Clair, Stephanie Brasley, and Monica Fusich.

CAT Toolkit

  • Lindsay reported that original LibGuide has broken links. New toolkit is has migrated to a Google site to be able to make collective editing easier.

NSSE update

  • Improving CSU NSSE module is worthwhile but stuck on how it should be accomplished. Michele spoke with Chair of CSU NSSE module, who seemed open to getting input.
  • The problem is the membership on that committee rotates and is unstable from year to year. Michele is seeking a way in. Next plan is for Michele to talk with her campus IR contact.

 

CAT Symposium update

  • There are 27 registered attendees and counting from almost all campuses.
  • Michele opens the floor for any questions, concerns and issues with registration or lodging.
  • Michele will send registration list to CAT.
  • Ann and Katherine will help with welcome table at the symposium.
  • Thoughts on inviting professionals outside of the library.
  • Registration will open up to third party officers and liaisons and for more than three registrants per campus after May 2, if symposium has not reached maximum enrollment.
  • Generating conversation during lunch meeting. Ask participants to think about questions to prepare for symposium discussion.
  • Lindsay proposed an optionally anonymous survey in advance. Questions can be used for information gathering and sharing and will be shared with the presenters.
  • Michele will send message out to CAT about these.

 

Next CAT meeting scheduled for May 22. Michele will send update if meeting will still be held.
