• Just provided a brief overview of where we stand.

• The production system is now up and running

  • will get to Authentication tasks next time.

  • David to set up:

    • Administrative sets

    • Manager groups

• Bryan will be setting up Spotlight for testing

• Migration tasks will include:

  • data clean-up in DSpace *

  • data mapping *

  • export from DSpace → DigArch

  • data clean-up in Hyrax *

  • Handle and URL redirects

• Decomissioning DSpace

Data clean-up

David

• How is the data clean-up going?

  • If you are interested in doing a co-working/clean-up session with Nicole, send her an email.

• Looked again at the Metadata Application Profile, noting especially the required fields and controlled vocabs.

• Make sure to carefully review and update your section of the data mapping crosswalk. This will be the main thing we use to do the actual migration.

• Anyone ready to move forward now? If so, just send David back your CSV file with any corrections, and he will load those into DSpace. David will then schedule the actual migration to the new system.

• Volunteers identified:

  • San Francisco

  • Sonoma

  • San Marcos (after David and Carmen meet)

  • Northridge (after David talks with Steve and Nicole)
