A recent white paper on the CONTU Guidelines has made the case that the guidelines are out of date and should updated. The Resource Sharing Copyright Task Force will review the CONTU Guidelines and relevant Copyright Law and will determine if it is appropriate to draft and recommend new guidelines on copyright to follow in resource sharing units within the California State University system. If the Task Force decides to draft new guidelines they will be submitted to the Council of Library Deans for review.
