Notes and action items:

 

 1.       Check thinking about March kickoff meeting

 ·         Brandon/Audrey discussed earlier; should we do the kickoff in March in person or over the web? A lot of the materials will be repeated.

                                        i.            Suggest: presenting lessons learned from vanguard phase

                                      ii.            Suggest: walkthrough of forms and deliverables

                                     iii.            Suggest: walkthrough of how to extract data

                                    iv.            Suggest: overview of communication paths when you have questions

                                      v.            Suggest: timeline for the full implementation

 

 ·         Agree that meeting should be in-person if we see a requirement for some back and forth; but Brandon suggests having an internal meeting to discuss and will provide Audrey with some dates in March for either in-person or webinar format

 


 

 2.       Review of remaining forms/deliverables for Vanguard phase – dates, specific forms to be delivered when

 o    Migration forms finalized -- Tue Dec 1

 o    All data submitted for initial test load -- Fri Dec 11 (includes SFX exports)

 o    Alma configuration form -- drafts are due Tue Dec 15 (Note: the Alma configuration form and supporting documentation has been sent; please review prior to our call next week)

 o    Alma configuration form -- finalized versions on file by Tue Jan 12

 o    Primo initial configuration questionnaire -- completed by Wed Jan 6 (Audrey to send it out next week)

 o    Primo configuration questionnaire (institution-specific) -- Wed Feb 10
 

 

 3.       Alma Configuration form: regarding Item Exceptions.  Do Item Exceptions only deal with item statuses? Or does it allow for exceptions related to Location Types?

 ·         Yes, item exceptions deal only with item statuses. Alma fulfillment is location-based.
 

 

 4.       Registering Alma as a Service Provider with InCommon (affects Shibboleth authentication configuration)

 ·         Action: Audrey to reach out to David+others to book a discussion on patron integration work - target next week - SCHEDULED FOR MON DEC 30

 

 5.       ERM data migration (Rae-Ann) --> please review the ERM documentation @ Home > Documentation Center > Ex Libris Documentation Center > Alma > Migration > Electronic > ERM Non-Ex Libris; the Local ERM to Alma Data Delivery Specification describes the format in which ERM data needs to be in for purposes of loading to Alma. There is the option of providing the files to us for loading to Alma during your test load, or to use the upload tool as described in the documentation center (see Uploading Extracted Non-Ex Libris ERM Data to Alma doc). We are confirming best approach with the migration team and will be in touch with Rae Ann with further details.
 

 6.       Early testers for new Primo UI --> Action: Lynn will check; but the new Primo UI is slated for GR next Summer
