Last Patron Activity Date Configuration

The Last Patron Activity Date shows the date of the last activity on the patron’s account.

Activity includes:

  • Placing a request

  • Borrowing or returning an item

  • Renewing items in Alma or Primo

  • Update of user information in Primo

Activity does not include:

  • Cancelling a request  

  • Automatic renewals

  • Using the Pay button

  • Patron purchase request from Primo

Alma must be configured to record the date prior to use.

Configuration

Navigate to the User Management configuration menu.

Select Record Last Patron Activity Date under General.

Select the Yes radio button.

Click Save and Execute.

The Last Patron Activity Date will begin recording for all users.

Analytics

The Last Patron Activity Date can be added to a User, Fulfillment, or Fines and Fees analytics report.

Patron Last Activity Date Analytics Report

Pathway: Alma Analytics Shared Folders / Community / Reports / Institutions / CalState / Fulfillment / Verified Reports / Users

This report can be used to help determine users to purge. The report lists all active patrons, and includes primary identifier, first name, last name, user group, expiry date, and last activity date.

Filters can be added to narrow users as needed. Please save the report to your personal or institution folder before adding filters.
