The Metadata Working Group is in the process of finalizing the Data Dictionary: reviewing for compliance with Hyrax work forms, resolving outstanding comments, creating a Master Data Modeling document, in addition to posting a user-friendly Data Dictionary on ScholarWorks.

Timeline for completion: June 2020

MWG Tasks:

Transpose fields from Data Dictionary Draft into the new Master Data Modeling spreadsheet
Review remaining comments in Data Dictionary draft, and ensure they've been resolved, or add them to the Trello board to review at our next meeting
Review the Hyrax work forms to ensure that all fields present in Hyrax are reflected in the data modeling spreadsheet
Review Metadata field definitions for clarity (and make recommendations if definitions should be made visible)
Finalize formatting for Extent (i.e., MARC formatting?)
Review, publish, and distribute Metadata Dictionary
