Purpose:

To provide pre-fabricated, commonly used collection development and acquisition reports for staff and librarians in the areas of collection development, acquisitions, and ERM.

How to use:

The toolkit is comprised of two folders of reports: those that should be run in the IZ and those that should be run in the NZ.

The reports are located in Alma Analytics:

/shared/Community/Reports/Institutions/CalState/Assessment and Analytics

Before running any report, it is highly recommended that you copy the complete toolkit from the shared folder and paste it in your own local folder (instructions for doing so are listed in the description field of each folder). This will ensure that any changes you make for your institution are saved, and it will preserve the integrity of the reports in the folders for other campuses.

Notes on changing filters

Many of these reports have filters on them; the current settings of the filters are likely set for the institution whose committee member created the report. You will need to edit these filters to reflect the funds, ledgers, and location setups at your institution. Check the “Creating a New Report” document in the ExLibris Knowledge Center > Alma > Analytics > Creating a New Report.
