  • 06 Normalization Rules Overview
Normalization rules are used by Primo to convert records of all types into the PNX format during publishing. This sessions shows where to modify normalization rules in the back office.
  • 07 Normalization Rules Configuration
This session shows you how to create a normalization rules set; edit and add normalization rules; and how to test normalization rule changes.
  • 08 Normalization and Delivery Template Mapping Tables
Normalization mapping tables contain definitions needed for normalization, such as how to handle library and institution codes. Delivery Template mapping tables contain information on how Primo provides URLs to different external systems. This session demonstrates how to configure these mapping tables.

  • 09 Local Search Scopes
Search scopes in Primo allow users to exclusively search certain repositories and collections. You can define scopes for your institution, allowing users to select desired scopes in the Front End.
  • 10 Primo Views
The end user interface of Primo is called a View. Different views can be displayed to different users, depending on your library's needs and preferences. Find out here how you can create views and the many configure them in many different ways.
  • 11 Updating Display Labels
User-Interface text appearing in the Primo Front End is arranged in display labels, which can present different variations of the text to different users. You can update the values of display labels through the corresponding code tables in the Primo Back Office.
