Primo Chat 10/06/16

Chat transcript

from North American Professional Services to Everyone:

Welcome everyone! As you enter, if you could please mute your line, that would be great! Lynn will

join us and begin presenting shortly.

from SFSU (privately):

sounds good

from David Walker to Everyone:

Lynn -- will the services page design change at all with the new UI?

from Laura (Sonoma) (privately):

This question can be answered whenever it is most convenient, but since publishing to Primo is only

from the network zone, if we have records that aren't in the network zone (local only resources, for

example) will they not be included in the publishing to Primo?

from CSUN to Everyone:

Is it possible to configure Primo so that request options appear even if a user is not authenticated? Like

we could show a "place hold" button even if the user isn't logged in?

from Fresno to Everyone:

is the A-Z list displaying results from the network or institution zone?

from David Walker to Everyone:

horray for tab-less design! :-)

from Holly Yu (privately):

You just mentioned the A-Z only covers electronic journals. Does the A-Z include print periodicals?

from Laura (Sonoma) to Everyone:

Possible enhancement request? It would be nice if the request link showed and you were prompted to

log in when you clicked it to see if you had the right to request or not. Most people won't log in

automatically and won't necessarily know that requesting is even an option.

from Holly Yu (privately):

Ok. Thanks,

from CSUN to Everyone:

+1 Laura

from Chico (privately):

from Laura (Sonoma) (privately):

Can we customize OvP mapping tables at the installation level?

from Fresno to Everyone:

are there ftp/sftp credentials that can facilitate file management (images, scripts, css files, etc)

from yvonne (CPP) (privately):

is Primo certification ready for us? do you recommend get it, if avail.?
