 Linking to NZ & Share with Network
  •  Revised document Recommended Match Methods to provide some further instructions regarding Linking to NZ vs. Sharing with Network. Campuses should check functionality of Share with Network to ensure it does not create duplicate records.
Documents without Shelves: Update
  • Marcive documents will be managed centrally via the NZ similar to ECC collections.
  • Some questions: Can campuses opt out due to the impact for discovery; i.e., if gov docs dominate the results?
  • Ask Discovery Group about potential problems and recommendations (scope; relevancy ranking; etc.).
Communication of Resource Management Issues
  • Distribution of Slack postings via ULMS TS list: weekly digest of issues related to resource management (Q&A; information pertaining to documentation, procedures; or suggestions/instructions).
Documentation (Procedures)
  • Local documentation vs. Knowledge Center (Ex Libris) document: Do not duplicate procedures!
  • Create tips/cheat sheets (procedures). Some topics: selection of bibliographic records; when to create a new record; duplicate records in NZ; original cataloging, etc.
  • Consult TS Working Group during TS Open Forum about needed documentation/procedures!
