Primo VE Authentication

To get authentication set-up with Primo VE, you need to do two things:

1. Your campus IT group needs to configure Shibboleth (or whatever SSO system they use) to recognize Primo VE. Here are two documents to help with that.

   • Authentication request template, which you can use in a change request to IT.

   • Instructions from the Chancellor’s Office that you can give to IT.

2. You need to configure Primo VE to use the correct integration profile for authentication. If your campus uses Shibboleth, we recommend creating a new Shibboleth profile for Primo VE in Alma.
