Report Summary

This committee has created a list of desirable third party applications to integrate into the Primo interface. We have also recruited CSU JavaScript developers to aid with the programming aspect of these projects. With the launch of the Primo New UI this task force must work to develop these projects without the library of code available to the Primo Classic UI. The work of this committee was also delayed due to problems with the release of the Primo interface, but work towards understanding how to incorporate 3rd party applications into Primo is now underway.


Description

This committee will explore the integration of the following into the Primo interface.

  • Texting (SMS) call number and book information.
  • A chat help feature (QuestionPoint, LibChat)
  • LibGuides
  • Book Pages
  • Book Covers
  • Integration with Consortial Catalogs
