Report Summary

Over the past 6 months, the UX Best Practices Task Force has reviewed the literature regarding Primo, and has planned and created our own instruments in order to conduct usability testing of Primo. Testing was delayed due to problems with the release of the new version of Primo, but in January the task force was able to complete usability testing at four campuses (Northridge, Fresno, Fullterton, and Los Angeles). The task force is currently analyzing data/results from the testing.

Description

The Task Force will assemble a "Toolkit" to be distributed to CSU campuses which will include:

  • Bibliography of Primo usability studies
  • Primo suggestions and best practices based on literature and usability studies conducted at CSU campuses
  • Links to Primo customization options 
  • Accessibility concerns and recommendations based on accessibility testing

By March 31 2017 - Initial release of toolkit

By May 1 2017 - Final version of toolkit released
