Tipasa Task Force
Charge to the Tipasa Task Force: COLD voted in April 2018 to establish an interlibrary loan system collectively, rather than a separate licensure on each campus. Concern about the issue was prompted when OCLC announced it would end ILLiad support and begin migrating its clients to its own new system called Tipasa. Tipasa doesn’t integrate with Alma and has other functionality issues. In May 2018, COLD Exec voted to establish a task force reporting to STIM that will examine the issue and make a recommendation about the direction we should take.
Timeline: The work of this Task Force needs to be completed by February, 2019.
