Fresno and Northridge are participating campuses
Laura has all data from Northridge, still waiting from data from Fresno, promised to have it to Laura by March 10th.
Draft report deadline is May 31st. Feedback will be given by June to wrap up project by end of fiscal year.
2. Toolkit update
Selecting CSU DLOs (Lindsey O’Neill)
Working on identifying DLO learning outcomes and checking that they are aligned to assessments. Most DLOs in our collection do not have assessment aligned well with learning outcomes. More specifically, many DLO learning outcomes are not articulated at level appropriate for multiple choice quiz assessment.
Gathering CAT members’ assessment projects via new Google form (Sarah Dahlen)
Seeking feedback on using the Google form to submit projects. Will then do a revised version and send back to the group.
Suggestion to narrow scale, i.e. form does not seem oriented to more narrowly focused assessments. Michele will follow-up with Sarah.
3. May 2017 CAT symposium/webinar on WASC and IL assessment – Michele Van Hoeck
Venue and format : Maritime can host CAT symposium as a webinar and simultaneous in-person meeting.
Speakers and travel funding: Michele will apply to COLD for funding for speakers’ travel expenses to go to Vallejo.

Lindsey O’Neill, Instruction Coordinator and lecturer, Instruction Design & Technology
CAT comments and feedback: what are some of the questions or learning needs the speakers could address?

Getting faculty buy-in
A roadmap for IL assessment on campus getting buy-in– setting up signature assignments.
Sharing of experiences, challenges and successes
Defining IL for the campus

Developing rubrics and other measures with IL in mind.
Audience – CSU librarians only or open to non-CSU?
Open to other California State University Librarians. Hypothetically, we have space/budget to host as many as 50 librarians. Hybrid option. Not required for everyone in CAT to come.
Suggestion of workshop session to come away with a deliverable.
Group decided to keep it just CSU librarians.
Date for symposium
Looking at Friday, June 2nd. Michele will ask the CAT list and speakers to see if that date is good for most people.
