Digital Archives Updates

Dave, Nicole, and Melissa

• Dave and Carmen presented a report on an anticipated Summer 2022 pilot to COLD last week

Work Forms Task Force Updates

All

• Several members of MWG were able to attend the Work Forms Task Force meeting on February 4

• Dave sent an email the ScholarWorks project manager list announcing that work forms will be discussed following tomorrow’s Open Forum

Field of the Month Initiative Updates

Melissa

• First co-working meeting of project managers was held on February 3

• In the process of updating documentation based on feedback; will now be recommending Google Sheets rather than Excel for data manipulation and clean-up

Potential Collections Working Group

Melissa and Ryan

• Dave met with Ryan and the SF State team in late January to talk through some potential development projects for collections

• One potential project would be to review the existing collections work form and make recommendations on which metadata fields should be included. Would anyone be interested in working on this?
