CSU NACO Funnel Coordinators

Purpose

  • Coordinate CSU NACO Funnel Project.
  • Maintain CSU NACO Funnel Members informed of the current issues and workflows related to name authority record creation.

NAR Requests

To submit a NAR request, please provide the following:
  • Name type: Personal vs. Corporate;
  • Record number: OCLC (or, MMS ID);
  • Links (if any) to biographical data, especially for local authors;
    • Include screenshots/PDF attachments of: Title page, jacket blurbs, and any other parts

    If your campus does not have any NACO Funnel Project participants, but you need to have a name authority record created, you may submit a name authority record request. Please be sure to include PDFs/screenshots of the title page, jacket blurbs, or front/end matter containing relevant information about the person or corporate body. Additionally, if the entity for whom you need a NAR is local to your campus (e.g. faculty member), please make an effort to obtain as much relevant distinguishing information as they are willing to share.
