Why are we doing this?

Scope

Background/Purpose of Task Force: Alma enables libraries to customize the appearance and wording of letters.  System-wide collaboration will better enable each CSUs campus to fully utilize the XLST/Letters branding capabilities afforded by Alma.

Must Have

Some thought was given that there should be a base list of letters that should be working or have some detail provided in a template that can be applied to various letters.

  • Working Activity report
  • Courtesy and Overdue notices
  • Interested user letters
  • ILL slips

Should Have

Nice to Have

  • It would be nice to have a repository of shared templates to which each campus could add customized branding
  • A table that names the letters in a more descriptive way
  • SMS messaging
  • Acquisition request ?

Out of Scope

TBD
