Scenario 4:

Opt-in resource that has a negotiated price that includes more than one resource. NZ ER Administrator will set Set up order in the NZ, will mean there is more than one collection for a specific database in the NZ but with different orders attached to the e-collection.This scenario uses a combination of Opt-in Scenario #2 and Scenario #3.

Example: EBSCOhost Academic Search Complete –set up a negotiated license for the ASC-only –only subscription for Libraries A, B & C and a combined Academic Search Complete and Business Source Complete negotiated license price for libraries H, I, J & K

Use Model 3 Opt-in Scenario #2 for this single resource order:

Order Academic Search Complete and add the negotiated license for the ASC-only subscription.  Libraries A, B & C will appear as Available For in the NZ and will have a PO for the ASC-only subscription.

Use Model 3 Opt-in Scenario #3 for this combined order:

...

Then order Academic Search Complete again

...

and

...

attached the negotiated license for the combined ACS/BSC subscription.  Libraries H, I, J & K will be set up to share this e-collection in the NZ and will have a separate order.

Create a Master PO using Order without Inventory.

Create a Technical PO for ASC and add the Master POL to this order.

...

Then attach the POL and negotiated license for the combined ACS/BSC subscription to the Business Source Complete e-collection.

In the library instance:

Order the ACS e-collection that is available to the subscribed library which will use the negotiated license with the cost of the subscription of the combined ACS and an BSC e-collections.  Create a Master POL for the cost of the two resources and create two Technical Purchase Orders, zero cost, one for ASC and one for BSC, attaching the Master POL to the Technical Purchase OrdersThen do a Technical order with zero cost for BSC so the library is not charged twice for single subscription.
