Digital Archives Working Group

    • assessment of readiness for campuses to implement a digital archives sister system to the IR.

  • DAMS performance evaluation tool

    • What would we ideally like to see in such a system?

    • Rubric for every campus to fill in (e.g., streaming, authentication)

  • Digital preservation investigation

    • self-eval will capture what campuses are doing now

    • Investigating potential tools & existing evaluations

  • Initial planning for a DAMS

    • focusing on communication, assessment, work-flow

    • Intended to complement the PKP documentation, set out some best practices

    • Will also include campus contacts

  • Elsevier/CSU Gold Open Access pilot

    • Recent CSU agreement w/ Elsevier includes provision to allow any CSU author to publish in an Elsevier journal without expensive processing charges.

    • Need to communicate this more widely. Focusing on some documentation, and train-the-trainer sessions.

    • Can direct faculty and students to the Elsevier tool.

  • Looking at possibly some additional documentation for authors, systemwide undergraduate journals, critical look at LibGuides.
