Restarting CSU+ Checklist

Alma Settings

Extend CSU+ due date policies to 16 weeks. (See: Changing the CSU+ Loan Period to 16 Weeks)
Un-hide the CSU+ request link in Display Logic if necessary.
If limiting requesting to certain user groups (i.e. faculty) edit display logic so CSU+ link only shows for allowed users.
Re-enable Resource Sharing borrowing and lending in Library Details. (See: Turning off Lending or Borrowing)
Change patron facing info to reflect new service expectations in terms of turnaround time, loan period, etc.
If doing home delivery, change the request form to allow for patron supplied delivery addresses.
If doing home delivery, consider adding the “Need By Date” field to the request form. This date can be referenced to prevent unnecessarily mailing requests passed the dates users need them by. (See: Primo Request Form Configuration)
Verify that your campus is active for lending and borrowing in the NZ. (See: How to verify if your campus is set to active or inactive in the NZ)

Other Logistics

Appropriate resource sharing staffing present in the building will be needed. Need to be able to page/send out items at least once per week.
Find a place to quarantine incoming Unity packages. The space will need to be large enough to keep daily deliveries separated until the quarantine period is met.  Ideally, this is where Unity will deliver packages.
Have extra packaging material on hand.  Courier bags will need to be quarantined along with the books inside them.  This will likely lead to a courier bag shortage. Boxes and padded mailers will work in place of the courier bags if you run out.
Photocopy or print extra flip cards.  Similar to the courier bags, flip cards will be held up in quarantine and you will likely run out of the originals.
